After considering recent events that have taken place nationwide as well as in Arkansas, the Searcy County School District School Board has made the decision to place off-duty law enforcement officers on campuses throughout the district. These officers will be hired to assist our current School Resource Officer as he continues to provide a safe and secure environment for our students. The District is working with the Searcy County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Marshall Police Department in an effort to make all schools in the district as safe as possible. Students, parents, and teachers will see the additional presence of law enforcement officers on all of our campuses for the remainder of the school year. Please know that student safety is our number one concern for the students of our district.
Parents, please take the time to complete our Title 1 surveys.
