Upcoming Events and Announcements:
Update on SCSD Kindergarten and ABC Pre-School Registration:
The District is currently working to develop a secure on-line registration form so that parents can register their children for the upcoming school year from home. If we proceed with on-line registration, required documentation such as physicals and immunization records will be turned into the school at a later date or submitted electronically. Thank you for your patience while we work through this. If you have any specific questions, you can call the elementary office at 870-448-3333.
Schools in SCSD will not be in session through April 19, 2020.
AMI packets for days 11-20 are being mailed Thursday, April 2, 2020. Please look for these in the mail. Marshall High School, Marshall Elementary School and Leslie Intermediate School have drop off bins in front of the school offices for parents to drop off completed work. Contact us at 870-448-3333 for questions.
Do you have innovative ideas or suggestions to improve our school? If so, stop by the office and complete our new suggestion form entitled Little Things, Big Differences! The forms and folder are on the counter in the front office. We will also be linking a Google form on our website in case you don't have time to come by the office. We would love to hear your ideas!
Marshall Elementary Continues The School Store & School-Wide Monetary System!
The faculty, staff and parents of Marshall Elementary worked hard to create a vision statement and direction for our school. The vision statement calls for the creation of a family environment that builds self-confidence in our students while emphasizing and instilling qualities such as integrity, responsibility, diligence and citizenship. In an effort to teach our students about these and many other core values, Marshall Elementary will be implementing a school-wide monetary system in which students earn school money for completing classroom and/or school-wide jobs that have either been assigned to them or they have volunteered to complete. The school money earned can be spent in our school store to purchase items ranging from necssities such as socks and backpacks to fun items such as sports equipment. Marshall Elementary will rely heavily upon donations to keep our school store stocked for students. We would appreciate your help in implementing our vision and inspiring a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility in our students! For more information, you may contact Mrs. Bohannon at 870-448-3333.
