SCSD Meal Request Request Form for April 6th and later

Info for “Operation Feed Our Kids” for the week of April 6

Meals will be available for pick up on Tuesday, April 7 and on Thursday, April 9, then every Thursday thereafter at Leslie Intermediate School and Marshall High School from 10:00 a.m. til 12:00 noon

Please note: If you signed up for the April 2nd pick up, then you are already signed up...there is no need to sign up again. Once you’re signed up, we will prepare meals for your student(s) each week unless you contact us to cancel your request(s). Also, we have edited the request form so that you can indicate if you will pick up at LIS or MHS. If you didn’t request meals last week but want them this week, please call any school office (448-3333, 447-2431, 448-3331) or complete this Google form

We will have a few extra meals at each pick up location but the best way to guarantee you will get meals is to request them.

MES GARDEN WINS ARKANSAS COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS GARDEN OF THE YEAR!

MES is one of the Arkansas School Gardens of the Year! We were recognized in the Community Collaboration category and will receive a $500 grant to fund ongoing garden maintenance, lessons, and supplies. Thank you to all the teachers who dreamed big to start it (Mrs. Baysinger & Mrs. Kelley in particular), the Garden Club volunteers who have grown that club, families & DOHTS ladies who watered in the summer, school district administration who supported a permanent garden position, the City of Leslie & Derickson’s for the garden soil & lumber, and the many others who donated time and encouragement. On October 15th, representatives from MES will be recognized as at the State Capitol by the Governor and given the opportunity to share about our garden to others.
